ARTIST
Chris Robbison
Christopher John Oscar Robbison was born in Cincinnati, OH in 1989. His early years were influenced by his African and Euro-American family traditions. In 2000, he moved with his brother, mother and step-father to Queretaro, Mexico where he lived and studied for 10 years in the rural town of Huimilpan. He spent a great deal of time with the famous rock sculptors of Escolasticas, immersed in the beauty and tradition of the rural life in the Sierra Madre Mountains and influenced by his love of art and music.
He returned to Cincinnati in 2011 , where he reconnected with his native city during its cultural renaissance. In 2016, Christopher Enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He currently lives with his beautiful wife Ana and his precious son Abel.

The use of color and abstraction reflect my love for Hip-Hop, Jazz, Soul, Classical music and their respective cultures. My own diverse life experiences combined with the strife and triumphs of our modern world have given me a vast wealth of inspiration that I want to share with you here.
